How to Settle the War in Ukraine

Compromise to some degree on Ukraine's 1991 Borders and NATO expansion.

Crimea is recognized as Russian.  New nation Novorussia created with extended territory of DPR and LPR.  Novorussia and Ukraine divide the Black Sea coastline--neither loses Black Sea access.  (Barring negotiated settlement, Russia will certainly attempt to take the entire coastline.  That's the benefit for Ukraine in taking a settlement asap.)  Novorussia is either constitutionally neutral or Russia aligned.

Neither NATO installations nor militia outposts will be located within 200 miles of Novorussia border.

INF treaty restored.

Russia agrees to accept NATO in Finland, Sweden and other countries, with similar restrictions.
